Shipping and Handling
Once a painting is purchased, it will be expertly packaged and shipped to your address including a signature on the back. Delivery times vary however I aim to pack and ship artworks within one week of purchase. Please include your email when you purchase an artwork so I can get in touch directly with you to let you know the tracking number and when it has been shipped.
Shipping and packaging prices are included in the sale price.
Oil Paintings on Birch Plywood - this work will ship flat in a sturdy, well-protected cardboard box. Very large oil paintings on wood will usually ship in a custom-made wooden crate, or extra sturdy cardboard box. Some paintings have a lot of heavy, thick paint on them called ‘impasto’. The surface is delicate, and should be handled with care. Generally speaking, when oil paintings are framed, they should not be glazed, and they should not be hung in direct sunlight.
Gouache Paintings on Paper - these are usually painted on watercolour or fabriano paper and this work will ship flat in a sturdy, well-protected cardboard box. When framing these works should be glazed as the paint is water soluble. Do not hang these in direct sunlight, the colour will fade.
Drawings on Paper - this work will ship rolled in a sturdy, well-protected tube. Please make sure you unroll your work once you receive it and leave it flat for a day or so before framing. These charcoal drawings are fixed with an adhesive so the surface charcoal does not rub off. They are still delicate and if the surface is disturbed, will smudge. Be careful and frame the drawing as soon as you can.
A Note
I always encourage clients to visit my exhibitions and my studio to see what my artwork looks like in person, and discover artworks that are not on this website. The colours of my paintings can vary in different lights, (daylight vs artificial indoor light). I include multiple images of works that are for sale to show these differences. Including examples of work hanging on the wall and images of hanging hardware. If you would like more views, please get in touch.
Returns
I will look into return requests individually. If there is a problem with your order, please get in touch with me within 10 days for a refund or to exchange.
